Miguel Sánchez

Miguel Sanchez was born in Holguín, Cuba, and arrived to the United States in 1979. He graduated in Commercial Arts and Graphic Design from St. Paul TVI, in Minnesota.

Miguel has attended various courses in Psychology, Philosophy, Literature, and Business Administration at University of Miami, Florida International University, and Miami Dade College. He is a certified hypnotherapist in Miami Dade County. He is a pupil of prof. Santiago Aranegui in deep stress reduction courses, pain management, and hypnosis. Miguel Sánchez is a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.

Along with his wife and three children, he founded The Miami Power Team Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to the noble cause of giving hope and extending a helping hand to children who are terminally ill, have cancer, and children with disabilities, including children who have autism, Down syndrome, physical impairments and visual impairments. Miguel has been supported and recognized by many government agencies, including the White House.

He has also received local, national, and international recognitions. Miguel also helps the families of the children sponsored by the Miami Power Team, aiding them in dealing with depression, psychological and emotional traumas, stress, and helping them regain the will to live and keep going.

He has authored three books: “Diario de la Vida,” “Vivencias Cubanas,” and “Cosas de la Vida.”
